Polonia Warszawa + 1 1/2 @2.03 PB 4/10
In winterbreak hosts change coach (Dan Petrescu) and don`t play attractively but efffectively (similar to english-style). Maybe one of the reason is hard preparation to spring round because players complain of tiring. Wisla win three matches so far: Groclin 2:1 (H), Odra 1:0 (H) and Pogon 2:1 (A) and draw with local rival - Cracovia 1:1 (A). Tomorrow cann`t play: Baszczynski (DR, 20 matches/1 goal) & Kryszalowicz (FW, 4 matches after winterbreak and 2 goals) because they suspended. Kuzba and Paulista (both FW) are injured. Others like: Dudka (DL), Klos (DC), Sobolewski (DMC), Blaszczykowski (D/M R) and Brozek (FW) play in midweek friendly with Saudi Arabia at Rijad (different climate; around 35 degrees celsius). Visitors have been changed also in winterbreak. New players: Citko-M (best polish athlete in 1996), Kowalczyk-DC (good defender from Wisla Krakow), Zytko-DR, Simunic-GK, Kmiecik-FW (loan from Wisla Krakow, can play tomorrow), Zasada-FW & others and new coach (Jan Zurek; few season ago 3th place with GKS Katowice) help a lot. Now new team looks good IMO (well DC pair: Kowalczyk and Lukaszewisz-he return after injured; former U21 capitain; 23 years. Darek Dzwigala-MC; best free kick specialist in Polish League). Last week Polonia win very important match with Gornik Zabrze 4:1 (H). Yesterday Polonia signed new sponsor - J.W. Construction Holding S.A. and if tomorrow they will win with Wisla each player will recive 10 000 PLN (1€=3,8 PLN) or if they will draw 5 000 PLN. |

Groclin Grodzisk DNB @1.96 PB 4/10
Arka win only one match in spring round (Belchatow 2:0 H). IMO they play "kick and run" because most creative player-Bartosz Lawa is still injured and are strong favorit to relegate. Attackers cann`t shot goals-Nawrocik (FW) signed from Lech Poznan is without goal since 11 matches (friendly+league) and Pilch isin`t best form. Also defense aren`t stable (Majda-DL has made big mistake and Wisla Plock draw in midweek with Arka 1:1). Today Arka will be without Moskalewicz (MC-first team player) and Gorzad (MR-first team player). Groclin are runner-up from last season but many injured in first round are reason of low position in table (I write week ago about it). Good news for Groclin are injury Pance Kumbev. He was 12 player opposite teams! Visitors will play without Mynar-DR and Vranjes-DC (Both are injured from long time. They return to training but still need time) but probable line-up looks good. Gornik Zabrze vs Lech Poznan 2 1/2 Over @2.32 PB 3/10 I read many interviews with new Gornik Zabrze coach (Ryszard Komornicki arrived in winterbreak. Before he coached only youth players in Switzerland) and he said many times that Gornik will play offensive football. Hosts played two matches so far and both were "over" match (Cracovia 2:1 A & Polonia 1:4 A). IMO there is good tactics because GK-Carsten Nulle (from Germany; only 17 matches in 2nd Bundesliga; most time in lower German League) and defense (Matic-DC is slow like turtle, Prokop-D makes mistake like five years child) aren`t strong side. Kleber de Lima (FW from Hong-Kong League; few goals in friendly matches) should help shot goals because he return after injured. Lech Poznan don`t score much after winterbreak but i think today we will see more than two goals. |
