Austria T-Mobile Bundesliga 24/07/05
SV Ried - Red Bull Salzburg
Pick: Red Bull Salzburg -1/2
Price: 1.83
Bookie: PremierBet
Stake: 7/10

SV Ried Team News:
Drechsel ( mf, */** ) is out due to an injury same as Ronald Brunmayr ( off, ** ) and Thomas Eder ( mf, ** ).

SV Ried Analysis:
SV Ried drew so far two times in a row now in scoreless draws. Looking on that, it seems like their defense should be pretty solid, but that's not true in my oppinion as their opponents were not very powerful in attack as well playing against Innsbruck and Pasching.
Ried looked so much not at their best having some problems scoring but to be fair they had some bad luck in their games as well, although, especially the midfield seemed to have problems bringing passes to the offensive line or to play over the wings.
SV Ried has not enough quality in my honest oppinion to survive in the T-Mobile Bundesliga as their players do not have enough quality to keep up with the other teams in Bundesliga, even not with the traditionally settled midfield teams which are playing for a long time in Bundesliga.
I see Ried's defense getting in some trouble against scoring power of Salzburg which are becoming after each game more and more playing together with some fast midfielders and great condition.

SV Ried supposed lineup:
H. P. Berger - Brenner, Glasner, Kablar, A. Schicker - Seo, Berchtold, Angerschmid, Rasinger - Kuljic, G. Friesenbichler

Red Bull Salzburg Team News:
Alexander Manninger ( gk, **/*** ) still isn't fit to play for this game.
Thomas Linke ( def, ** ) isn't available for this game as well.

Red Bull Salzburg Analysis:
Red Bull impressed a lot in their last fixture at home against Mattersburg. Although at halftime the score was 0-0 and Salzburg did not play very well, in second half they simply played great. Fast combinations and a nice wingplay opened the way for the final 4-0 score and showed the potential of Salzburg. The team seemed to start to play very well together and for this game nearly the same squad is supposed to be fielded by coach Kurt Jara.
After the starting problems Salzburg had, their supposed weak defense became better after the 3-1 loss to Grazer AK and the midfield performed really solid and without bigger coordinating problems offering nice wingplay and passes to the 2-men offense. Especially Aleksander Zickler ( off, ** ) played really great in the last game scoring 2 goals which both were beautiful shot and he seems to be really on fire again.
Salzburg has much scoring power which will be able to break through the defense of SV Ried in my oppinion even more than once.

Red Bull Salzburg supposed lineup:
Arzberger - Knavs, von Schwedler, Miranda - Schopp, M. Suazo, Carboni, Jezek - Kirchler - Zickler, Lokvenc

Final Analysis:
I expect the 0-0 score run of Ried to end here for sure as they will concede a goal from one of the strongest offensive in whole league in my oppinion. I cannot see their weak attacking breaking through the becoming more and more better defense of Salzburg and I see Salzburg as clear favorites here, especially after their solid performance in the second half against Mattersburg.
