Austria T-Mobile Bundesliga 20/07/05
Red Bull Salzburg - Mattersburg Pick: Red Bull Salzburg -1 1/4 Price: 2.00 Bookie: PointBet Stake: 7/10 Red Bull Salzburg Team News: Alexander Manninger ( gk, **/*** ) still isn't fit to play for this game. Thomas Linke ( def, ** ) isn't available for this game as well. Red Bull Salzburg Analysis: Salzburg lost their opening match to Grazer AK 3-1. Although the result is indicating a clear game, it was absolutely not. Salzburg scored first and then tried to defend the leading but GAK scored. After that, GAK scored in the 52nd minute. Salzburg started pressing and played better in the second half. In 90th minute they got a penalty. The first attempt was in but referee decided not to give the goal as a player ran too early into the penalty area. The second attend finally failed. After this, GAK started a very nice counter attack and finally scored to the 3-1. Salzburg has for this game the same squad available as against Grazer AK. According to an interview, they are really optimistic about this upcoming fixture and coach Jara knows this is kind of a must-win game, especially after such an unlucky loss against Grazer AK a week ago. Red Bull Salzburg supposed lineup: Arzberger - Pichorner/Winklhofer, Knavs, von Schwedler, Miranda - Schopp, Kirchler, Carboni, Jezek - Mayrleb/Zickler, Lokvenc Mattersburg Team News: Rene Wagner ( off, ** ) is out due to an injurie for Mattersburg, otherwise there are no missings. Mattersburg Analysis: Mattersburg drew in the first game of the season for them at home against SV Pasching. The game was really boring, most of the play was in the midfield and there were not many scoring chances for any of the teams. Finally the game ended up 0-0 which reflected the gameplay all over the game in my oppinion. Mattersburg wasn't really dangerous in the attack and their midfield seemed to have some problems starting to cooperate after some new signings. Especially at the play over the wings, Mattersburg wasn't good enough so far and I expect them to have some problems against Salzburg especially on the wings from the midfield on. The only thing which was good by Mattersburg was their defense but in Pasching they did not have a really high quality opponent as well of course. Mattersburg supposed lineup: Borenitsch - Ratajczyk - Mravac, Patocka - Kaintz, Kühbauer, Schmidt, Fuchs, Mörz - Hanikel, Th. Wagner Final Analysis: Salzburg coach Jara has set the aim for this game by a clear win. In an interview he said, there is no other acceptable result than the home win for Salzburg. After the disappointing game against Grazer AK after playing very good and leading 1-0, I expect Salzburg to be even more motivated. Salzburg should be too strong for average team from Mattersburg and I expect a strong homewin. |
